The cheat sheet
- Hold the handle, not the ball
- About a fist away (2–6 inches)
- Let the mic do the lifting: you don't have to belt
- Lean in soft, back off loud
- Sing into the top, not across it
- Angle it a touch for the P's and B's
- Stay off the speakers. Bertha bites.
- Breathe low, stand tall
